Do I need to bring anything?

If you currently wear any glasses we do prefer you to bring those in for measurement. Additionally, if you wear any contact lenses we would also like you to bring in those prescriptions as well. It would serve as a great reference point for the doctors!

What insurance do you accept?

We only accept selected VSP and Spectera plans. However, we are in-network with selected plans so it is best to give us a phone call to verify your network eligibility.

When should I arrive for my eye exam? How long will the exam take?

Patients should always arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to fill out any necessary forms and have their eyes pretested prior to their examination. 

Typically, exams take around 20-30 minutes but it may take longer depending on patient needs. 

I had an eye exam at Costco before, can you access to the information from my previous visits?

We are associated to the optometry offices at Costco operating under Dr. Dao. Unless you have seen us at any of our three locations, you will be considered a new patient.

Do I need a Costco card for an eye exam?

Our practice is an Independent Doctor of Optometry Office located within Costco. Therefore, patients do not need to have Costco membership to visit us for our professional services.

Do you sell glasses?

Our optometry office performs eye examinations for eyeglasses prescriptions. We do not promote any glasses or brands to our patients. Patients are always welcome visit Costco’s Optical department next door, but the prescription is valid at any optical.

Our Policy

Prescription Adjustments

All patients have a three month time frame to try out their new prescription and get them adjusted if necessary. Adjustments within this time frame is free of charge. However, after 3 months patients will be charged $60-$90 extra.
