Optomap Retinal Screening
At our optometry office, we provide thorough eye health evaluations without using dilation drops. With our advanced Optomap technology, we capture a panoramic digital image of your retina, covering about 80% of it in one shot—much more than traditional methods. This allows us to monitor the health of your retina, blood vessels, optic nerve, and macula. Optomap allows for close monitoring of change over time and is generally recommended at every eye exam.
Optomap is an excellent alternative when dilation is not convenient.

Dilation
Comprehensive evaluation of eye health.
Dilation of the pupil allows us to see inside of the eye more thoroughly. In this procedure, eye drops are placed into the eyes to increase the size of the pupil. This helps detect hidden diseases in the eye which may not cause symptoms (e.g. blurred vision or pain) but which could be vision threatening, or in rare cases, life threatening.
Side effects may include temporary sensitivity to light and blurred vision.
* Patients with history of diabetes, high blood pressure, autoimmune diseases, cancer, or have high prescriptions are strongly recommended to have Optomap or dilation with every exam.
Contact Lens Exam
Interested in contact lenses? You can get a contact lens fitting alongside your glasses prescription for added convenience. We offer trial lenses so you can try out different options and ensure a perfect fit. For first-time contact lens wearers, we provide personalized training to help you feel confident and comfortable with your new lenses.
